We went with Preston and Jessica and kids to Kennecott Copper Mine and had a blast.

It was terribly windy there and it was fun to see the G I A N T dump trucks drive around looking like a regular sized dump truck until they came up close.
This is a tire to the G I A N T dump truck. It cost's $25k just for one tire.

The kids having a ball at the pool. This was in August obviously. Our cool underwater camera is fun to use.

The girls decided to have a fashion show with all of their animal pets and "hair pretties". They made a runway and stapled napkins for the curtains. They had music going on in the background (barbie music from the internet) and the animals were dancing on their way down.

The best thing of the garden is the harvest. Every day the girls like to go out to the garden and see what they can pick.

Kirsten wanted to use the basket to pick all of the tomatoes, raspberries and peppers to put in. They did it on Saturday before I could get out there. What cuties!

This picture is so you can see ALL of the jalapeno's that I picked so I could bottle them. (Sweet Jalapeno Peppers)  5 lbs. worth! I planted 6 plants just so that I could bottle them. Also, the picture behind me is the one that Dan gave me for my birthday. He hung it between the mantel and the hutch in the kitchen.

What a incredibly hard project this was!! I hated every minute of it. I was sore, ate very little, was constantly dirty, tired, and my hands had cuts and blisters on them. However, it was well worth it. I am glad that we did it ourselves. We both think that roofers that do it for a living are crazy! Notice the marks on our legs. (we are NOT wearing tights!) The kids loved getting on the roof AFTER the first time. They thought they were pro's.

Before and AFTER!!!! How beautiful!

When we went to Temple Square for Family Night, Dan and Preston saw a co-worker of theirs and she gave them a carriage ride from Gateway to T.S. Jessica and I walked and got there at the same time.:)

We went camping in August in Midway and went fishing at Wasatch State Park. This is us on the bridge of the man who founded Midway.
